Get Selected Free2View TV Live Channels On Your Roku!

Hey, Frugal Streamers!

Select channels from Free2View TV are now available for ALL Roku devices! The Frugal Streamer has just launched the 'Free2View TV Select' channel for Roku, the best mix of free, publicly available live streams from around the internet! As this project is a 'work-in-progress', the 'Free2View TV Select' channel for Roku has not been officially certified or made public by Roku, yet conforms to Roku's strict publishing Terms & Conditions, so it is completely safe to install onto your Roku device. The only way to get this Roku channel is by adding this channel through your Roku account online.

Click on this link to add this Roku channel to your account: https://my.roku.com/add/6DRC595
This version is no longer supported due to technical issues, please install the new version from the link below:

Before you read on, please read this:

Be aware, you WILL get a pop-up with a 'WARNING!' from Roku, as quoted below, which advises that your account may be restricted from adding any non-certified channels if Roku deems my channel to be illegal (which Roku shouldn't because 'Free2View TV Select' only uses LEGAL sources). Honestly, I have never heard of Roku enforcing this, nor of them imposing a full-on block of a Roku user's account. Here is what will pop-up on your screen before you confirm the installation of the 'Free2View TV Select' channel for Roku:

  • THIS IS A NON-CERTIFIED CHANNEL. Roku requires all channels to abide by Roku’s terms and conditions, and to distribute only legal content. Roku does not test or review non-certified channels. You acknowledge you are accessing a non-certified channel that may include content that is offensive or inappropriate for some audiences. Moreover, if Roku determines that this channel violates copyright, contains illegal content, or otherwise violates Roku’s terms and conditions, then ROKU MAY REMOVE THIS CHANNEL WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE, AND YOUR ACCOUNT MAY BE BLOCKED FROM ADDING ANY OTHER NON-CERTIFIED CHANNELS.

To the best of my knowledge, the live streams contained in the 'Free2View Select' channel for Roku are legal public live streams and violation of any copyright is not intended. Live channels will be removed promptly if they are determined to violate copyright laws or at the request of the content / channel owner. https://thefrugalstreamer.blogspot.com/ (the parent author of the 'Free2View TV Select' for Roku channel) assumes no responsibility for any consequences of installing this channel by the user.

Now that the legal stuff has been said and you accept everything noted above, read on...

The 'Free2View TV Select' channel for Roku is especially ideal for Canadian viewers as it includes many TV channels not available through the official Roku store in Canada: Buzzr, Comet, Charge! Stadium, and many, many more, but it is available for EVERYONE around the world! Loaded with plenty of Entertainment, News, Sports channels and more, the 'Free2View TV Select' channel for Roku is not intended to replace existing official channels from the broadcasters in the Roku store, but to complement Roku users' library of channels with this compilation of live streams all in one convenient resource.

Reach out to us through all of our Social Media outlets and let us know what you think! We are excited to bring you great channels on this fantastic platform!

Happy Streaming! -GB.

  1. Thank you! Love your channel. One suggestion is "Decades" Another U.S. OTA network running lots of classic TV. We used to have it, but a local TV station dropped it.

    1. Hi there! The Free2View TV Project curates live internet streams from official providers. Even though Decades is available for free to everyone who has access to the channel over the air, it is not currently available as a live stream. It is not possible at this time to add Decades. -GB

    1. Hey moviejim! Well, Movies TV Network is not streaming online right now (it's where I would get the live stream to embed into the app), but as soon as it does, I will definitely look into it! -GB.
