Which devices work with Stremium?
• Amazon Fire TV
• Roku
• Android Mobile
• Android Smart TVs
You can link paid streaming services Vidgo, Sling TV, Philo and Frndly. Subscribers to Spectrum’s cable streaming service can also use Stremium.
Why do this? You get all of your channels in a single app with one programming guide and one cloud DVR.
But there are some downsides to Stremium. The streaming service only has apps for Roku, Android mobile devices, and the Android TV platform.

Complete Stremium Channel Lists
You can get a wide range of channels into the Stremium interface depending on how many other live TV streaming services you subscribe to. On its own, Stremium has a few dozen channels but none of them from the major content producers. Here is what to know:

As the name suggests, the Stremium Free plan is completely free. But as you might expect, it lacks most of the features of a paid plan. You can watch 35+ basic free channels from Stremium, but that’s about it. To unlock more features, you’ll need the Stremium Basic plan.
(Editor's note: According to fans on our Facebook group, you can add add streams to the Free tier on Stremium, you just won't be able to record programs. See the next section below for a list of streams you can download and add to Stremium.)
Stremium Basic – $5/month
Stremium Basic is the best option if you already have a TV provider. You’ll get access to the 35+ basic free channels, as well as tons of other features:
- Record up to 25 hours of DVR content
- Schedule recordings so you never miss a show
- Connect a third-party TV provider for more channels
- Connect multiple third-party TV providers, if applicable,
- Organize channels easily with favorites
- Create your own channel to watch your favorite shows
You should note that while Stremium Basic costs just $5/month, you can also add more DVR space. This costs $5/month for 25 hours of storage. So, for example, if you wanted 50 hours of storage, you would pay $10/month for Stremium Basic.
The Stremium Free and Stremium Basic plans come with more than 35 channels. These tend to be second-tier cable and broadcast channels that have free-to-watch live streams.

(Editor's Note: If you are in a physical location served by the free TV service LocalBTV, channels in your market will appear automatically in the line-up for Stremium. We have confirmed this does NOT work using a VPN, otherwise channels will appear automatically in Stremium if Local BTV can 'see' your physical internet presence in their local market. To see what LocalBTV channels are in your area, visit https://www.localbtv.com. -GB)
With Stremium Basic, for a nominal monthly fee, you can add a great cloud-DVR service and record programs from the free channels. With the Stremium Basic plan, you can even add your favorite streaming channel and record programs from these streams as well! Tip: You can record multiple programs simultaneously!

Stremium+ (Powered by Vidgo) [US customers only]
You can turn Stremium into a complete cable replacement service by subscribing to the Stremium+ plan. It comes bundled with both Stremium Basic and the Vidgo+ subscription plan. Vidgo includes a wide selection of nearly 100 broadcast and basic cable channels.
If you already subscribe to Vidgo separately, you can link your Vidgo account with the Stremium app to get all of your streaming in one place — and on the same DVR. Note that you’ll need a Stremium Basic subscription to do this. Stremium’s free plan does not let you link accounts.
(Editor's Note: Not available in Canada)
Stremium with Philo [US customers only]
With the Stremium Basic plan, you can link your Philo account to get all 63 of your Phillo channels in the Stremium interface.

Family-friendly streaming service Frndly can also be linked within your Stremium app. Depending on your Frndly subscription plan you’ll get access to about two dozen channels. You’ll need to subscribe to the Stremium Basic or Stremium+ plans to do this.

What Stremium Plan Is Right For Me? Our Recommendation
You can try out the Stremium Free plan to learn a bit more about the platform and its apps. Since it’s free, there’s no reason not to try it!
But you may be wondering if the Stremium Basic plan is worth it. Should you pay $5/month for a 25-hour DVR? If you already have a TV provider, this Stremium plan may be worth it. Using Stremium, you can easily watch your favorite shows on-the-go, and you’ll get a DVR that will let you record and watch your shows anywhere.
For cord-cutters or “cord-nevers” who don’t have an existing TV provider, Stremium+ is a great plan. You’ll get 95+ top cable channels, a good DVR, and solid device support for just $55/month.
In the end, it’s up to you. Just sign up for Stremium, see what they have to offer, and figure out which plan is right for your situation. You can cancel at any time with no hidden fees, costs, or penalties!
