Spring Into Action with FilmRise’s May Marathons!

Free TV and Movies streamer, FilmRise, is offering great marathons across all of its networks.

It’s May -- the flowers are in bloom, you and your friends are gathering around the maypole and galvanting in nature. But when rain clouds flood the sky and the nights get chilly (or you’re just tired from all that time in nature), FilmRise has got the goods with our May programming!

This month, we’ve got some great marathons on deck, including Creature Feature Weekend, a showcase of our best otherworldly creatures-with-a-vengeance. Titles include Tobe Hooper’s CROCODILE, Steve Guttenberg in LAVALANTULA, and more monsters than you can shake a stick at. We’ve also got a Mother’s Day Marathon, including titles that star on-screen moms Gillian Anderson, Christina Hendricks, Cybill Shepherd and many others.

We’re also celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with a themed marathon, including titles such as the popular MEET THE PATELS and the Oscar-nominated WHALE RIDER. We’ve got a Spring Into Action marathon, featuring a Nic Cage-heavy line-up of the craziest action movies we could find, including Cage in Werner Herzog’s BAD LIEUTENANT: PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS, Woody Harrelson in Oren Moverman’s RAMPART and so much more.

Last but certainly not least we’ve got a space-centric marathon of one of our tentpole shows: Unsolved Mysteries: Space Cases. Binge strange cases of UFOs and alien abductions with Robert Stack! And like every month, we’ve got our Full Moon Madness marathon timed to this month’s Full Moon, with all-things werewolf.
