Tubi Adds Top-Rated Fox Titles To Its Fast-Growing Library In Canada

FOX Entertainment’s Free Streaming Service Debuts more than a Dozen New FOX Titles Today in Canada, Including Fan Favorites THE MASKED SINGER, THE MASKED DANCER, NAME THAT TUNE and MENTAL SAMURAI

SAN FRANCISCO, September 1, 2021 – Tubi (www.tubi.tv), a division of FOX Entertainment, today announced it has added more than a dozen popular FOX titles to its massive library in Canada. U.S. favorites will now be available on Tubi in Canada, including THE MASKED SINGER, THE MASKED DANCER, MENTAL SAMURAI, NAME THAT TUNE and ULTIMATE TAG. These new titles join other popular titles on Tubi in Canada, including recent Tubi Original “Tales of a Fifth Grade Robin Hood,” “Goodfellas,” “Letters from Iwo Jima,” “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” and more. A survey conducted earlier this year by Tubi’s Launch partner in Canada, Rogers Sports and Media, found that Tubi is the most popular ad-supported video on demand (AVOD) service (20%) in Canada, behind YouTube (34%), and saw a 107% year-over-year increase in total view time (TVT) from January 2020 through January 2021.

“FOX’s marquee titles launching in Canada comes at an optimal time when our Canadian audience is growing at a rapid pace,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer, Tubi. “We’ve seen FOX content resonate with our viewers in the U.S., so we’re thrilled for our audience in Canada to now have these premium series at their fingertips.”

“Making these titles available, a number of which are produced and owned by FOX Alternative Entertainment, illustrates our strategy of combining the power of FOX with the reach of Tubi,” added Rob Wade, President of Alternative Entertainment & Specials, FOX Entertainment. “In doing so, we not only introduce these hit series to new viewers, but accrue meaningful value for the FOX brand and our content.”

In addition to specials, including “TMZ PRESENTS: Harry & Meghan: The Royals in Crisis,” “TMZ PRESENTS: Tiger King – What Really Went Down?,” “After the Mask” and “Nick Cannon’s Hit Viral Videos: Holidays 2019,” new titles now available on Tubi in Canada include:
