Sirius XM's Listen Free Event is Back Through December 2 on Inactive Radios and Online

SiriusXM is Providing a Free Preview of Its World of Content Starting Today Through December 2, Just In Time For The Holidays

Celebrate the start to the holidays with music from your favorite genres and artists. This year, over two dozen ad-free channels have launched to celebrate the holidays, including new channel Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Seasoning Radio and SiriusXM exclusives such as Hallmark Radio, Trans-Siberian Orchestra Radio and more.

SiriusXM usually has a free listening event about twice a year, once during the summer and next sometime over the holidays. This year, the satellite radio giant's holiday event will last for almost two weeks starting today and ending on Monday, December 2, 2024. Starting early this morning during the overnight hours, SiriusXM has made its wide array of content available for free on both its satellite and streaming platforms.

SiriusXM content will be available for free for a limited time from November 21st through December 2nd for anyone with an inactive satellite radio, or who has an internet connected mobile device and/or web access. Any non-subscriber in the United States and Canada can tune in to sample SiriusXM seamlessly, without any registration requirements. The app itself delivers expanded programming, greater discovery, more intuitive recommendations and SiriusXM Video.

That means access to hundreds of curated music, talk and sports channels (and my personal favorite-- the Big 80's on 8-- am I dating myself?) are all easily available during this free listening period. This should make most (if not all) of SiriusXM's content able be streamed free to anyone, with no subscription or login required.

Also this year, SiriusXM announced an unprecedented amount of Holiday channels that you can enjoy during this free listening event. The return of its extensive holiday music lineup started earlier this month with 26 festive channels, including a new channel, Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Seasoning Radio. Users of the app will also get access to thousands of hours of live music performances and curated playlists, On Demand shows, comic routines, audio documentaries, exclusive interviews, and expertly curated content from an ever-expanding On Demand library.

Best of all, there is no cost to enjoy SiriusXM for the next couple of weeks, so dust off that ol' SXM radio boombox in the closet, put a pause on streaming your favorite free web-radio stations online and listen to SiriusXM's array of great stations!
