Blue Streak (1999)
After a diamond heist goes awry, the thief Miles Logan (Martin Lawrence) stashes the stolen diamond in the air duct of a building under construction in Los Angeles. However, when Miles gets out of jail two years later, he discovers the building is now the LA police headquarters. Determined to retrieve his stashed possession, Miles pretends to be an LA police officer recently reassigned. However, things don’t go as easy as planned with Miles having to keep up the charade longer than expected.

A modern adaptation of the Broadway musical, Annie features a young girl who’s parents left her as a baby, leaving her to grow up in New York with her struggling foster mom. However, her fortunes change when billionaire and mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx) takes her in as an attempt to gain popularity among voters. His scheme however takes a turn as he grows quite found of Annie and her positive attitude, which breaks through his hardened personality.

When American man Frank Tupelo (Johnny Depp) visits Italy and encounters a captivating stranger Elise (Angelina Jolie), he does not realize the trouble that will follow. Believing Frank is Elise’s wanted lover, the two attempt to evade the police and an angry mobster looking for payback.
